Web, also called the World Wide Web (WWW).
The World wide web was created in 1989 by British Scientist Tim Berners Lee. Tim Berners Lee demonstrated his concepts at CERN towards the end of 1990 when first web server and browser were operational. Tim Berners Lee published his WWW software in 1991. The source code for the world's first web browser and editor was made available by Tim Berners Lee on April, 30, 1993.
